Hi everyone... I'm sure this has been asked before but I couldn't find an answer anywhere so please bare with me ;p

I have a dual-boot system (Linux-Kubuntu/Windows XP) and BOINC is installed under both OS's. I wondered if it is possible for it to share a work unit cache between both BOINC installations? From what I've read it looks like this was possible "back in the day" (before BOINC) by using "Seti-driver" on windows and "lin-seti" on linux as workunit cache managers, any way to set up something like that today? BTW I don't do any other projects on BOINC so if I had to I could drop BOINC in favour of a SETI-only solution.
Thanks in advance for any advice you can share!

No, that's not possible. All tasks are registered to the computer hostID that downloads them, that same hostID must also upload & report them. This means that although your other hostID can run the same work, it cannot upload & report it.

So best run the work only per ID/OS.
