Anyone like to google me "Exit status -108 (0xffffffffffffff94)" ? See Exit code -108. It's a BOINC exit code. |

Poses the slightly smaller problem where I've seen him post recently :D yes, but my first post in this thread after looking up the faq was before you has posted here :P would be easier if you coul search for usernames or partial usernames and not only for uid... I will of course remember this exchange for future reference ;) Carola ------- I'm multilingual - I can misunderstand people in several languages! |

I think I'm the only one here which answered James Sotherden question. :-P I think both Ageless and Jim_S had something to say about the actual error code. Edit: this WU James? somewhere in the middle of stderr says 'out of mem' Were you doing anything graphic intensive? would be easier if you coul search for usernames or partial usernames and not only for uid... For that, there's the User search (from the COMMUNITY link). There's only one Ageless from the Netherlands ;-) Gruß, Gundolf Computer sind nicht alles im Leben. (Kleiner Scherz) SETI@home classic workunits 3,758 SETI@home classic CPU time 66,520 hours |

Thanks to all who answered my error question. I was watching videos and it was quite warm. I noticed the video was jumpy on the screen so I did a reboot and stopped watching videos. Again thanks. [/quote] Old James |

There's an option to snooze the GPU via the taskbar or via the activity menu 'use GPU never'. Best used if you plan to do something graphics intensive e.g. videos or gaming. There is also a cc_config option that snoozes the GPU automatically when running programs you specified there. Carola ------- I'm multilingual - I can misunderstand people in several languages! |
