I've neither heard about nor read anything about this, but it began showing up a day or so ago.

Anyone else got any info on this?

Seti has had a server software upgrade. This has confused Seti Beta (a separate site and testing project for Seti applications) into thinking it's the main project and vice versa. The guys at Seti will just have to fix that, along with a myriad of other bugs.
