145 tasks uploaded, some more to go still. :(

You're cheating. You're using a much faster GPU than I do with my ION :-)

I think i must be. The GTX 275 is pretty powerful i'm actually surprised how well i'm doing with only one of them and my Q9550 @ 2.83GHz.

I have 48,000 pending and about another 50-60 tasks in my cache left, 8 being CPU work units and the rest being GPU.

Each GPU work unit runs about 14 minutes with the optimized applications installed. I Just upgraded to the 257.21 drivers to see how it is. :)

Give it a little bit though, servers come back up and then they'll slowly die again. It's just one of those bad times at the moment. Hopefully once i get some extra money together i can donate a bit to help out.

Ok, will everyone who is not one of my wingmen please click no new tasks so I can get rid of some of these extra 6 or 7000 pendings I seem to have picked up in the last few minutes? :-)

I'm going to assume i'm one of your wingmen :P

Sooooo i'll just keep getting new work for when it comes back up.

I'm actually not really a huge credit freak as i'm quite new to S@H i'm more interested in what we're doing, not the benefit for doing it. Although it is fun watching my RAC and credits. I want to see how much pending i can get before it clears up. I'd kill for a 10 day cache as i'm moving house tomorrow and the internet won't be on for about a week. :(

If it's any consolation, the ten tasks I've just picked up were all resends, so that should be ten happy campers around midnight, when the GPUGrid task I've just started, finishes.

Sorry i meant without the optimized apps, not with. With them it runs 9-11 minutes on cuda apps.

Here (CH) ... (by the way "Great Swiss performance aganist Spain ... Hop Swiss!!")
I see upload OK and DL also working in same host without any task to do.

But I see that in the host without job (as 1852935) I have a lot of tasks "in progress". This is not correct. In that host I have uploaded and sent all results.
I see that the replica db is "running" and so this shouldn't be an error from it.

What's the matter, again?

The data I see on the server status page right now is all very old, up to 7 hours old. (Right now I see the replica 0 seconds behind the master, but 7 hours ago.) Yes, the databases server is running, but it has quite a bit of running to do after the shutdown. You can't think of the on-line stats reporting as real-time. They have just gone through a prolonged shutdown, and things will take awhile to catch up. I assume they put more priority on creating and distributing work right now then on reporting stats.

Also, I suspect that even if the replica is up to speed with the master that doesn't mean the master is up to speed. Again, it may have a big backlog after the shutdown/upgrade/whatever the heck just happened.

Sorry, mostly a newbie here. Am I missing something? When I look at my hosts' tasks, I'm seeing only one partial line.

The URL I'm looking at is http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/results.php?(etc)

I've been watching the outages along with the rest of the community and know that after an outage, it takes some time for all the databases to iron things out between themselves, so I was waiting to see what was resolved.

When I look at my own hosts, all I see is a partial first line. If I look at other hosts (my wingmen, for example), their task lists populate.

Thanks!

Welcome to the boards. The problem you are seeing has been happening to all of us, and should work itself out in time. You are the first person to mention you can see others tasks. I looked, and you are right. This is certainly an interesting bug. Thank you for that piece of information!

I have valid units on my 2 computers with 0 granted credit. Here, here, here, and here. I don't think it's normal. Anyone else to confirm this bug?

Message 1004789 - Posted: 16 Jun 2010, 20:12:47 UTC - in response to Message 1004782.

At the moment, I seem to be able to see my own tasks, though I haven't tried to look at more than one or two pages. Checking individual workunits, somethimes I can see the full details of my wingmate's report, sometimes I can't (more often no than yes). If I can't see the details of the task matching mine, then I can't see any of the other tasks for that host, either. If I can see the matched task, then I can also see all (at least, the page or two I've tried) of the other tasks for that host, too.

So there does seem to be some consistency in the pattern. Somebody with more time on their hands (== not so close to Last Orders :-) ) can work out the pattern for which hosts can have their lists displayed, and which can't.

Thanks, Steve!

Was pretty sure it was a symptom common to all, but some folks mentioned seeing tasks, so thought I'd ask.

I make my living in IT systems management, so I have a great deal of empathy for the crew in Berkeley.

I think I just fixed the workunit.php bug. Please test, and let me know if this fixed other bugs (like result(s).php)?

I posted that my PC got double Cr. granted, also 0 Cr. for well results - in the panic thread.

Hmm.. you made me confused, why I should have an explanation?

I was just posting a reply regarding the pattern I was seeing (lines disappearing when list hit something else than 'anonymous platform') and when I went to double check all was well :) (results.php and workunit.php)
