Tonight I decided that I wanted to change my Avatar to one I have been using for a while on other sites, but was unable to do so.

Did you try to purge your browser cache (ctrl F5 with Internet Explorer)? Well, I don't know what happened, but I logged in today and my avatar had been changed. It's highly unlikely that would have been it. I run Ubuntu Linux and always perform a clean install when upgrading. That would include my browser, which of course is Firefox. It had also been a long while since I visited the website. At any rate, the issue is mute. I'm not quite sure what happened, but the issue has been resolved. Thanks for the response. ____________ 73 from Glenn - KG5UC

It had also been a long while since I visited the website. At the moment you visit the web site and your account, your avatar is cached in the browser. When you then change it, it'll keep showing the cached version until the cache is out of date, or you force an update (CTRL + F5). ____________ Jord - BOINC FAQ Service - BOINC User Wiki Real is just a matter of perception.
