Neutron stars are formed under collapse. Electrons and protons merge..etc..etc..

So a neutron star is not a NEUTRON star, as it emits photons. Where do these photons/electrons, come from within a neutron star?

By defintion, a neutron star is...... neutral electromagnative?

Well, neutrons are neutral but have a small magnetic field. Put billions of them aligned together and you have a big magnet. As it rotates, it emits EM waves, that we detect. This is what I remember.

Neutron star = a star that has reduced itself beyond aoms, and compressed them to neutrons.

Novae is the reaction of that. Light, heat, IRW, etc. In essence, a neutral body. But it's spitting off visible light, i.e. photons, electrons. Did they just materialize (forget the Tardis) out of ,not negatvive energy, neutral energy?

Neutrons are fermions, that is they have spin value of 1/2 in h/2pi units where h is the Planck constant. Think of them as rotating spheres, and they have a magnetic dipole moment.In the Standard Model they are made of three smaller particles, called quarks, which are electrically charged, but the total electric charge of a neutron is zero, while that of a proton is equal and opposite to that of an electron. What quarks are made of, God only knows.
