Need some advice here. My GPU used to work but no longer. These days I am getting messages such as:

5/26/2010 11:53:07 AM	SETI@home	Requesting new tasks for GPU
5/26/2010 11:53:08 AM	SETI@home	Scheduler request completed: got 0 new tasks
5/26/2010 11:53:08 AM	SETI@home	Message from server: No work sent
5/26/2010 11:53:08 AM	SETI@home	Message from server: No work is available for Astropulse v5
5/26/2010 11:53:08 AM	SETI@home	Message from server: Your NVIDIA GPU has insufficient memory (need 254MB)
5/26/2010 11:53:08 AM	SETI@home	Message from server: Your NVIDIA GPU has insufficient memory (need 384MB)

I would like to point out that I never had these messages with 6.10.18. Also the system I am using is 3 months old. I should not need to buy a new system every time you guys come up with new release.
To be honest I can not afford it any way.

Is there anything I can do short of buying new system?

Here is my system info:

That's not (entirely) a BOINC/SETI problem but an nVidia driver/CUDA-version issue.

And besides, you still can use your CPUs.

I do use the CPU... But so slow...

According to Nvidia I am using the latest drivers they have available for my system (driver version 19745, CUDA version 3000). I believe they are the same as when I used the 6.10.18 version. Any ideas?

Thanks

I don't have a CUDA device myself, but as far as I know, it's happened with the newer drivers and higher CUDA versions that fewer memory got recognised.
