My computer was given a task, 1607342534. I had my computer on this morning and that particular task was running. I left the computer on for around an hour, and when I got back, it was running another task. I clicked on that task, and it said, Outcome - Client error, Client State - Computer Error. Next to something called stderr out was this: core_client_version>6.10.36</core_client_version> <![CDATA[ <message> process exited with code 193 (0xc1, -63) </message> <stderr_txt> In ap_gfx_main.cpp: in ap_graphics_init(): Starting client. Was this my fault somehow, or my computer's? And if so, can I keep this from happening again. I was disappointed, this looked like such an interesting task. |

The Tasks id you pointed out is to another person entirely http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/show_host_detail.php?hostid=1661411 He is your wingman on the Work unit I assume you are worried about. Your work hasn't returned yet but I can assume that there was some sort of memory error because of this line SIGSEGV: segmentation violation That is an error involving mishandled memory In a rich man's house there is no place to spit but his face. Even while the database server is now back up, the replica database is still off line. All the data about our tasks is read from the replica database. With it off line, (or behind as will probably happen later on), you can't keep track of your tasks. They just won't show up, or will show as in progress even while you reported them already. You'll have to wait for the replica to be up-to-speed and up-to-date before we can look at it. |
