I use Microsoft Office Picture Manager or Paint for editing the pictures....
but there are as well other chances to do that, like using Photobucket or any similar storage webpages for media files,
which add some features for internet publishing, for example. Very useful if you´re actively posting.
Cheers!

Thanks to all, especially Skildude. No disrespect to others. Skildude's suggested proggy worked a charm, and my profile is up and running.

With respect, a huge cheerio to all.

It's an inconvenience to those i ask, yes. I've been away from computers for nearly 5 years. Turned my back on tech for awhile and lived in the "real" world, so to speak. Kind of lost touch on what does what, and how, and why. I appreciate the help greatly. Thankyou.

Cool ideas Dirk, they may well work. But in my case i don't have Office installed. Paint didn't do what i wanted..or maybe i couldn't get it to do what i wanted it to do. I sincerely appreciate your input, and look forward to help i probably will need in the future ;)

Glad you got it worked out. A free program i use is Irfanview. You can crop and resize. I must admit though I find it not a very easy program to use.

another free program so you can have an "Office" suite. Download Open Office. It's a big download but it can do everything Windows office can but its, as previously stated, free
