Cosmic_Ocean wrote in the old panic thread: I have a 3 day WU cache and have enough WUs on my both machines. IIRC, someone said in the TNews that for a (short) time we'll have less new WUs available than normally. I don't know why. |

Downloaded two new WUs about 30 minutes ago. Just plain luck I guess. |

Running down the C2D laptop on purpose - only 6 tasks left. That'll all be done tonight. What I do after, whether I take it offline, crunch more SETI or run it on another project for a while, I haven't decided. My old Celeron has 4 tasks in it's cache. That's over 64 hours of crunching. It won't notice any outage. As for the i7, I've got a load of Cosmology WU's to get through before I even touch the 10 days worth of S@H tasks that have cached. - Luke. |

What is interesting is that as shown on the Cricket graph, the decline was slow and steady, not the instantaneous changes we often get. Steve Warning, addicted to SETI crunching! Crunching as a member of GPU Users Group. GPUUG Website |

Hi Steve, What is interesting is that as shown on the Cricket graph, the decline was slow and steady, not the instantaneous changes we often get. Detail is everything :-) Regards, John. |

My case has built-in air filters on the intake side, in the form of 10 5-1/4 bay covers. Every few weeks I pop them out and run hot water through them backwards. Works like a champ. Linux laptop: record uptime: 1511d 20h 19m (ended due to the power brick giving-up) |

Does anyone know if the upload problem will be resolved today? I have 247 uploads pending and not enough wu's to get me through the weekend. |

Well, I'm running a three day cache and the guesstimates are pretty close to right but it looks like I may only make it to Sunday if I'm lucky. Oh well, I've been out of work before and I survived, guess I'll make it through again if they don't get it fixed soon. PROUD MEMBER OF Team Starfire World BOINC |
