Steve is moving pretty good, Me My improvements are all on schedule, to be bought, Next month I'll get the car A/C fixed, then on to the psu I need(for the 1156 PC), then 2 tires(for the car), then some ram(for the 1156 PC) and an oil change for the car. But until then I'm waiting on some money so I can sell the GTX295 and pay off a small interest free loan and hopefully have a enough left over for a radiator(1st of 5 or 6, 1 or 2 for the cpu and 4 for the three 470 gpus, Yeah I decided to save $480 and get the 470's instead of the 480's).

And yeah thanks to the outage the forums are nice and snappy. Just the way I like It. :D

Sounds like you have a good handle on your finances. Mine are in a perpetual state of uncertainty. Every time I try to do a budget something happens to throw it out of whack. I planned to have three GTX 295's in this box months ago... Can't even find them anymore. I'm hoping to get three 480's by early next year.

For now the GTX 285 and two GTS 250's are as good as it's going to get.

Edit: Sorry for going so far off topic in here.

I see nearly all red on the server status page.

And BOINC say: 'Message from server: Project is temporarily shut down for maintenance'

Also the scheduler server & process, and ALL the MB splitters are DISABLED, so we know that Matt/Eric/somebody knows about it.

Ah, the weekend! Glad my boxes have enough work to last until Tuesday.

Now off to the shade of the mulberry tree with a beer and a good book.

I see that all the servers and about half of the splitters are back online, and a new disk is in for splitting.

The replica database is 4900+ seconds behind, but that will take care of itself soon enough.

Whoever came in or logged in from home, Thanks! Good job, guys.

Hmm... I have 3 weird S@H tasks on my i7 rig. Their labeled "Astropulse". What's an "Astropulse"?

;-)

Whatever you do, do NOT let it escape from your rig. An Astropulse is an extremely rare creature, on the borderline of extinction according to the most eminent astronomers. If I get one too I'll send it along to you and perhaps we can start a breeding programme ~:-O

Ops.. my BOINC got:
'Message from server: No work sent
Message from server: (reached daily quota of 100 tasks)
'

It's a DUO-CPU with one GPU.
They changed it?

[EDIT: The GPU alone make ~ 150 normal WUs/day]

Yeah, got the same thing on my 980 rig this morning. There was a similar problem last year, and, IIRC, it was something that was tweaked on the BOINC side (as opposed to Seti).

Curiously, my 920 rig has downloaded more WU's than the 980, and hasn't received the message (yet).

<EDIT> then again, there are no files loaded on the splitters at the moment, so limits sort of become moot.

I will run down my cache, then check lunatics for new updates and then down load 10.56. Milkyway will get free run untill we get new work.

Strange..
I had BOINC V6.10.56, downgraded to V6.10.18 and the same message.

Strange strange, BOINC DLed today no WUs from SETI@home and get: 'Message from server: (reached daily quota of 100 tasks)'.

I guess it's a problem with the SETI@home servers.

I too am getting the 100 WU quota message. I have plenty of CPU work, but my GPU's are almost drained. I'll try the rescheduler to shift something back to the GPU's.
