No jobs available means the project is currently temporarily out of work. You might want to add another project to your mix of BOINC projects so that you get through dry spells at ont project. I have the same issue when I selected to do SETI jobs (I was a BIG user of the classic). It has been a few days, and SETI still hasnt got any jobs (the client is stating No jobs). What is going on with the SETI project? has it been scrapped since they lost the use of the Aribo (spelling) radio? thanks, and i look forward to a reply explaining whats going on. j |

I have the same issue when I selected to do SETI jobs (I was a BIG user of the classic). As far as I know, they are still using the Aricebo radio telescope. In Classic, any glitches were covered by sending the same work out over and over again (up to about 40 times for some WUs). Glitches in BOINC don't waste your computer time the same way, it releases the CPU so that other BOINC projects to which you are attached can get some processing time. BOINC WIKI |

Just wanted to give my cents worth. I've been having this issue on and off the last few days on one of my 4 machines. It made no sense as the other 3 were all getting new WU from the seti server. I detached from the project and then re attached and it started working again. Robbie |
