I bet she's having a very good week, bespite the external HD issue.

Yup. We've come to spend the long weekend at my mum's. The weather is absolutely gorgeous.

It seems my boinc app stopped working for a few days...

Managed to fix it I think. Will see if my RAC starts going up again.

Greetings,

Thanks guys! :)

I couldn't have done it if it hadn't been for my trusty old 486DX2-66 PC back then. Got it somewhere between 96 and 98. Had to retire it in 2000 because it was not Y2K compliant. Moved up to a Pentium 2 if memory serves. The computer I used before the 486 could not be used on SETI, even though it ran a Unix like OS called OS-9 (not to be confused with Apple Mac's OS 9). Besides, running at 1.78MHz it would have taken years to finish one WU. :D lol

Yep, watched SETI evolve over the years from Classic to where it is today. Made the move to BOINC in July 04 and haven't looked back since. :)

Keep on BOINCing...! :)

Firefox never ceases to amaze me! I was testing the link in "preview" mode and when I was satisfied the link worked, I closed the tab thinking the image came up in a new tab. WRONG! It came up on this tab. I went to history and brought back the tab and finished my post. That is just amazing! I didn't lose my post or the edit. :)

You've got to love Firefox. Even when it does crash, you just reopen it and pick up where you've left off.
