It's a comedy of boredom...

I just popped back on to tell you that my next boring adventure will be at the laundromat...Where i will be washing tons of my laundry momentarily.

I think a wash cycle of about 30 minutes would be better .... :-)

If i could invent a way to do a large load of laundry in one minute i would soon be the richest man on Earth!

Right now all i can do to speed things up is put all colors of clothes in one GIANT load...Then after they are washed and dried i put them in a big plastic lawn and leaf bag and tote them home without folding them at all...

I used to do that, but made my own plastic laundry bags (I used to work where we made blow moulded plastic sheet. The bags I made were 6 feet wide and 8 feet tall.

I never used to worry how long it took. There is a pub just across the road from the laundromat.

I do think though, that the washing machine is right up there among the top mechanical inventions of all time and I was very glad once I had my own.

I'd have a washer and dryer...But my house is rather small...and they would have to have been squeezed in...So i trek to the evil laundromat and use the GIANT machines there.

My laundromat has a little deck on the front of the store and is right next door to a coffee shop. So I sip and read and find it very relaxing. I look forward to my Sunday afternoon ritual. :)

I had laundry rage yesterday. We have a laundry room here and I left my washing by the machine to take the next turn as is standard laundry etiquette is such situations. I came back shortly after the person's load was due to be done so I could put my laundry in only to discover that they had put more loads in!!!

I was most vexed.
