What causes "Inconclusive" results ?

it means that your results didn't match your wingmans close enough. the Workunit will be sent to a 3rd wingman in an attempt to get matching results

I'm not exactly sure what it means. From my experience it seems to occur when the two tasks of the work unit do not produce the same results, but neither is invalid. It may be solved automatically by the system if it sends it out again to a third computer.

Differences in how different CPU Vendor/Family/Model do rounding of floating point numbers
cause slightly different results
