http://item.ebay.com/290428376868#ht_629wt_1083 Sorry, but I wouldn't buy a stupid GPU for 1,000,000.- US$. I would do something other (better) with this money. Is the world crazy? This is a joke, right? ____________ [Optimized project applications, for to increase your PC performance (double RAC)!][Overview of abbreviations, which are used often in forum and their meaning.] |

Supposedly it's a viral marketing campaign done by XFX. http://www.tweaktown.com/news/15008/xfx_s_stolen_hd_5970_black_edition_limited_video_card_was_a_viral_marketing_campaign/index.html |

If you look at the contact information for the ebay seller, you will see he/she owns a company called "Creative Media" which does viral marketing for other companies. http://www.occreativemedia.com Personally I think this kind of thing is unscrupulous. A flat out lie to get free advertisement for their new cards. |

Maybe something to do with this? http://www.fudzilla.com/content/view/18278/1/ Don't know if it's true or not, but the website assures us that it is... regards, Gizbar. A proud GPU User Server Donor! |

Hey folks...closer scrutiny says this little beastie is going for a current bid of $10,201.00 dollars; cant find the million. Still, at this "bargain" price I nonetheless find it a bit too steep! |

It looks like they pulled out the silly outrageous bids. I can only assume they had to verify that the folks actually had the money($1 million) to bid on the card In a rich man's house there is no place to spit but his face. Diogenes Of Sinope |

If 1,000,000.- US$ or 10,000.- US$, I wouldn't pay more than ~ 500.- € for one graphic card. ;-) This auction is nonsense! ____________ [Optimized project applications, for to increase your PC performance (double RAC)!][Overview of abbreviations, which are used often in forum and their meaning.] |

I'm assuming that some fool is willing to pay a lot for the right to have the first one off the production line. In a rich man's house there is no place to spit but his face. Diogenes Of Sinope |

They can pay whatever they want for a first off but I prefer to wait and see if the silly thing is even going to work as it's supposed to first. Nothing like getting the "first off" doorstop! PROUD MEMBER OF Team Starfire World BOINC |

my dad always told me, never buy the first model year for a car. I think the same applies here. I'd like to have it but I'd rather not have to return it. In a rich man's house there is no place to spit but his face. Diogenes Of Sinope |
