Sorry, but I wouldn't buy a stupid GPU for 1,000,000.- US$.
I would do something other (better) with this money.

Is the world crazy?
This is a joke, right?

Couldn't agree more - $995k on wine, women and song and then just waste the rest ;-P

If you look at the contact information for the ebay seller, you will see he/she owns a company called "Creative Media" which does viral marketing for other companies.

http://www.occreativemedia.com

Personally I think this kind of thing is unscrupulous. A flat out lie to get free advertisement for their new cards.

Maybe something to do with this?

Don't know if it's true or not, but the website assures us that it is...

Hey folks...closer scrutiny says this little beastie is going for a current bid of $10,201.00 dollars; cant find the million. Still, at this "bargain" price I nonetheless find it a bit too steep!

It looks like they pulled out the silly outrageous bids. I can only assume they had to verify that the folks actually had the money($1 million) to bid on the card

If 1,000,000.- US$ or 10,000.- US$, I wouldn't pay more than ~ 500.- € for one graphic card. ;-)

This auction is nonsense!

I'm assuming that some fool is willing to pay a lot for the right to have the first one off the production line.

They can pay whatever they want for a first off but I prefer to wait and see if the silly thing is even going to work as it's supposed to first. Nothing like getting the "first off" doorstop!

my dad always told me, never buy the first model year for a car. I think the same applies here. I'd like to have it but I'd rather not have to return it.
