Hello Fellow crunchers, I saw something on my workunits they are telling me that the outcome is not trusted and has to be checked my outcome is 27.83 and all the outcomes from the fellow who I am coupled with, has a outcome from 0.04 and he is coupled with me for the most of the workunits to go, hereunder his specs and the workunits he has waiting, is this normal???? Hello Fellow crunchers, It's not normal, but also not too rare for a CUDA GPU to get in a bad state and produce many false result_overflow outcomes. That particular host is identified as Anonymous Platform because it is running Linux and Crunch3r's CUDA build, there are no stock CUDA builds for Linux yet. You can expect the final resolution of those tasks to show your host has done good work. Joe |

As Josef said, it's not that uncommon. Sometimes, when your partner catches it, a reboot will cure it but not always. I'm afraid all you can do is sit back and wait for all the work units you are paired with him on to be sent out and be redone by a third cruncher before you get your credit. I'm not sure if this would be regarded as high-jacking this thread, but my question does regard Anonymous platforms. When I look at Your (my) computers, I see that I have an AuthenticAMD Athelon bla bla bla, running Microsoft Windows XP Home bla bla bla with BOINC 6.10.43. But when I look at my tasks, I see that the tasks I have completed were on an Anonymous platform and that the tasks yet to complete are expected to be run on an Anonymous platform. Does the right hand not talk to the left? Really, guys, it's the only platform I'm currently using. Thanks from puzzled parl. |

I'm not sure if this would be regarded as high-jacking this thread, but my question does regard Anonymous platforms. Did you install Lunatic's unified installer? If you're not using the stock apps (just installing BOINC and nothing else) it will show up as anonymous. |

Thanks. I guess it's better to run optimized than pessimized. (grin) |
