Congrats James, and 444 is your number?

On the East Coast our temperatures seem to be slightly higher than yours Andy. The car says we are currently over 14c. I'll soon need to use the compressor to kill the dust bunnies in the PCs
It's good to be back amongst friends and colleagues

Yesterday I had to switch on the swamp cooler for a bit, Yesterday was the 2nd time, The 1st was a test and to clean out the blower of loose junk, Did It ever, The floor after the test had to be vacuumed clean, But everything works perfectly, So I'm ready, Bring It on Summer, I'm armed to the teeth here.

I had a thought on Europe's current problem, I'd pray for a light rain to wash the ash out of the air. Good Luck.

Typically we're in a dry spell at the moment after months of rain & snow! We've not seen a drop for a couple of weeks - ignore the weather station in my sig - it's wrong, a rabbit chewed through the wires today, grrr!

It's been a glorious day here today though, warmest for months at just shy of 17C. Bring on Summer!

I am one of the few fortunates in the UK to have full ducted A/C too, so no day is too hot for me ;) (Although it will give me good cause to moan about the utility bills again LOL)

Never gets hot enough for A/C in UK. Says he who lived in Africa for 27 years.

I see the Times and the Guardian say the Volcano could keep erupting for months.

I had to power up the swamp cooler yesterday, Good thing I'd already tested It and vacuumed the Kitchen & washroom floors, The cooler had a lot of loose calcium carbonate debris on the fan, Yesterday It was as high as 83F(29.5C), So I got the temp down to 74F(46C) inside and all in low gear too.

It's all about living in comfort - I don't ever have to endure sweaty sleepless nights due to the humidity :)

The air in my house is filtered & purified 24/7 which keeps the house dust free. The UV lamps in the A/C keep the bugs down. Air Conditioning isn't about blasting cold air out - it's about conditioning the air ;)

I am hoping the volcano is behaving by June 'cause I love the heat on your side of the pond :)

At least for me it's not relentless, I know I can escape it!

Actually, the Volcano needs to behave for the 7th of June only while I fly across. After that it can blast it's guts out and trap me stateside. I'll be perfectly happy with that ;)

I think Angela has a spare room LOL.

Dust is a problem here too, One day If I stick around I may conquer It. But not today, Just staying cool will just have to do as the PC is filtered and so will the other two PCs too, It's just a matter of time and cost. :D

No thanks! I'm swimming in debt but it looks like your just barely keeping your head above water.

You certainly have my condolences though. If I was rich or well off, I would help you out.

I appreciate the thoughts. Yes you could say Im just keeping my head above water but it is held high with my 2 girls by my side and in the house they've grown up in. I've always felt there are more important things in life than money.

Do you know why divorce is so costly?

Because it is worth it.

Yes, it is a Friday.

Another cheaper solution to marriage and divorce may be to just find someone you hate and buy them a house.

Being busy is a good thing. I think we could all build a wants and needs list that far axceeds our capabilities but without the desire to continue to work towards something life can take some bad turns. Been there, done that and not going down that road again.

A spare room, yes. Air conditioning? No! There are only a few days each year in Northern California that we regret never putting in air conditioning. Hopefully none of those days will occur during your visit!!!
