I can't seem to download new work for any of my projects. I just get the message "communication deferred". I have three projects attached and only one was working. Now, even that one,(SETI) has stopped. |

I too had some problems connecting to the SETI servers after the outage today, but now everything is fine again. What is the reason for the deferred communication? I just saw that your host has connected to the server at 13 Apr 2010 22:23:03 UTC; that's six minutes before you posted. Did you use the same email address for all your projects and did you ever return a valid result for the other two? I ask because no other project is listed on your account data page and even BOINCstats lists only SETI for dvb911. Gruß, Gundolf Computer sind nicht alles im Leben. Typically a few messages before and after the Communications deferred message will give us a place to start. Could you post a half dozen before and a half dozen after? You can multi select and click on the copy selected messages button then paste them here. BOINC WIKI |

most of our time is wasted in deferral? |

Did you ever read the messages you posted here? There's not one about a deferral! The message of your AstroPulse task being overdue obviously is ignored by you, although you'll definitely won't get credits for it, since it's not even in your task list anymore (a third copy has been sent out and returned). However, since it probably runs in high-priority mode, BOINC will of course refuse to download more work. Gruß, Gundolf Computer sind nicht alles im Leben.
