Hey there people, i've been making celestial art for quite some time now, & was thinking you all might enjoy it too like many other people have! I have it hosted at the deviantart website at http://j4m3sb0nd.deviantart.com feel free to browse around & tell me what you think! :) Hehe, you may even want to buy a print, eh? ;p

Nice work. Some of you guys make it look easy. I guess that's the idea.
Deviant Art has been a favorite for a long time not just for 'space' stuff but for everything from icons to traditional painting and photography. Another good one is here: http://www.digitalblasphemy.com/dbhome.shtml

1. create masterpiece
2. upload to free photo host (I use photobucket)
3. copy tag into forum message box
4. bask in heaped admiration

Kyle-
Your work is terrific and all who have followed your posted link to Deviant Art on this board and the other one have made favorable comments which you rightly deserve.
I hope you are not feeling abused because I brazenly posted an example of my own 'artwork' on this thread that you started in order to promote your efforts and gain some exposure and feedback.
Here is a good place to do that as this community does take an interest in the diversity inherent in its membership and all through these boards are examples of members promoting personal websites and sharing links to everywhichwhere.
Nobody is trying to snatch this thread- it will go wherever it leads. It 'belongs'to all its contributors. Even alien abductees, bible-thumpers, former US presidents, Guido, and fine artists like me and you come & go all the time-enjoy...cc

Ah, lol thanks for concern. :P In no way was posting your art a bad thing to do, it just sounded sort of cynical when you said "Seven months- big deal
I'm self taught- I use PAINT and I've been making art for seven minutes" eh?

I actually didnt post for exposure/promotion, i already seem to get plenty of that at deviantart, i posted in hope that others would enjoy seeing my art, & it seems so, so im glad everyone likes it. :)

Kyle-
I went back over to DevArt to have another look at some of the fine body of work you've posted there and to confirm my suspicion that indeed you have not yet reached the physical age when perception of time begins a rapid accelleration while simultaneously collapsing upon itself.
This happened to me when I was about 23, but the number is quite variable.
I can predict however, and you can take this any way you want, that when you percieve this figurative ass kick foreward you will already be well on your way to overcoming its relentless momentum- capable of transforming seven months into an eyeblink and seven minutes into an eternity.
I can say this because of the enormous advantage you have displayed and the head-start you have gained that is evident in the volumne and quality of your work.
Even your attitude is tuned in to your creativity as evidenced by your reference to my 10 second stickman (the entire volume of my portfolio) as 'art'- and making me believe that that's what you meant.
There is a wide space between cynical and smartass- but you're obviously too busy being creative and productive to bother with such nonsense.
Whatever it is you choose to do- dont stop. You're miles ahead already...cc
