Does BOINC recognise your GPU? You can see that in the Messages tab after a reboot. Gruß, Gundolf Computer sind nicht alles im Leben. (Kleiner Scherz) SETI@home classic workunits 3,758 SETI@home classic CPU time 66,520 hours |

On Projects tab, select SETI@home and press Update button Copy and post here about 10 lines of messages after 28-03-10 16:12:19 SETI@home update requested by user For how long you do not have a chance to get SETI@home WUs for the GPU? You are attached to many projects - some of them may need the GPU at the moment. Â - ALF - "Find out what you don't do well ..... then don't do it!" :) Â |

it was public last time i check. that would be a forum bug popping up. i have always had it public. anyhow it was a bad upgrade that was the issue. 3/29/2010 9:38:54 PM Starting BOINC client version 6.10.36 for windows_intelx86 3/29/2010 9:38:54 PM log flags: file_xfer, sched_ops, task 3/29/2010 9:38:54 PM Libraries: libcurl/7.19.7 OpenSSL/0.9.8l zlib/1.2.3 3/29/2010 9:38:54 PM Data directory: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\BOINC 3/29/2010 9:38:54 PM Running under account user 3/29/2010 9:38:54 PM Processor: 2 AuthenticAMD AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 4400+ [Family 15 Model 35 Stepping 2] 3/29/2010 9:38:54 PM Processor: 1.00 MB cache 3/29/2010 9:38:54 PM Processor features: fpu vme de pse tsc msr pae mce cx8 apic sep mtrr pge mca cmov pat pse36 clflush mmx fxsr sse sse2 htt pni syscall nx lm 3dnowext 3dnow 3/29/2010 9:38:54 PM OS: Microsoft Windows XP: Home x86 Edition, Service Pack 3, (05.01.2600.00) 3/29/2010 9:38:54 PM Memory: 2.00 GB physical, 5.83 GB virtual 3/29/2010 9:38:54 PM Disk: 465.75 GB total, 283.66 GB free 3/29/2010 9:38:54 PM Local time is UTC -4 hours 3/29/2010 9:38:54 PM NVIDIA GPU 0: GeForce GTS 250 (driver version 19713, CUDA version 3000, compute capability 1.1, 512MB, 470 GFLOPS peak) 3/29/2010 9:38:54 PM SETI@home URL http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/; Computer ID 4697162; resource share 100 3/29/2010 9:38:54 PM GPUGRID URL http://www.gpugrid.net/; Computer ID 67636; resource share 100 3/29/2010 9:38:54 PM SETI@home General prefs: from SETI@home (last modified 27-Mar-2010 03:00:13) 3/29/2010 9:38:54 PM SETI@home Computer location: home 3/29/2010 9:38:54 PM SETI@home General prefs: no separate prefs for home; using your defaults 3/29/2010 9:38:54 PM Reading preferences override file 3/29/2010 9:38:54 PM Preferences: 3/29/2010 9:38:54 PM max memory usage when active: 1023.74MB 3/29/2010 9:38:54 PM max memory usage when idle: 1842.73MB 3/29/2010 9:38:54 PM max disk usage: 10.00GB 3/29/2010 9:38:54 PM suspend work if non-BOINC CPU load exceeds 25 % 3/29/2010 9:38:54 PM (to change, visit the web site of an attached project, 3/29/2010 9:38:54 PM or click on Preferences) 3/29/2010 9:38:54 PM Using proxy info from GUI 3/29/2010 9:38:54 PM Not using a proxy 3/29/2010 9:38:54 PM SETI@home Restarting task 08mr07ae.3462.23794.11.10.250_1 using setiathome_enhanced version 603 3/29/2010 9:38:54 PM SETI@home Restarting task 29mr07af.21445.14796.15.10.91_0 using setiathome_enhanced version 603 3/29/2010 9:38:54 PM SETI@home Restarting task 29mr07af.21746.13978.16.10.103_0 using setiathome_enhanced version 609 |

So you have no issue - everything looks normal: 3/29/2010 9:38:54 PM SETI@home Restarting task 08mr07ae.3462.23794.11.10.250_1 using setiathome_enhanced version 603 3/29/2010 9:38:54 PM SETI@home Restarting task 29mr07af.21445.14796.15.10.91_0 using setiathome_enhanced version 603 3/29/2010 9:38:54 PM SETI@home Restarting task 29mr07af.21746.13978.16.10.103_0 using setiathome_enhanced version 609 the version 603 tasks are for CPU the version 609 tasks are for GPU So it is obvious that you now (at the moment you copied this messages) have work for both CPU & GPU Â - ALF - "Find out what you don't do well ..... then don't do it!" :) Â |
