HI, Use Synaptic package manager. Look up BOINC and install it. It's that easy. |

I d/loaded the file then placed it in home folder - opened terminal and used cd to go to folder then entered ./ before the programme name and it began to run, did same for the boincmgr and it opened and im back on track - all was in ubuntu |

I was a member years ago and last active in 2006 , I recently started back using linux and a different computer, I was looking at my stats on combined BOINC stats and noticed it was showing me the old computer, I found the new one on here and entered the ID number I was given and was given stats for someone else. Number is defo right one Iv doubled double checked and it's given me same id as someone called nick k |
