Here's some Peeps for You, Note I've eaten 3 so far. :D

I noticed they are making chocolate covered Peeps now. I bought a couple for Eric's bunny basket, but was not particularly tempted myself.

If somebody reminds me, after Easter I will post the story of the Peeps Massacre we had at our place once. (Before Easter it just seems sort of wrong...)

. . . is there a PETA division / group that relates to 'PEEPS Massacre's' ????

I just hope that PETA doesn't find out about certain forumites ritualistically dismembering chocolate bunnies, and posting photos on the web.

I bought another one this afternoon after my run. :(

Think I'll wait until tomorrow tho. I don't want to be eating three a week. :P

I do rather like a decent tawny port, but I can't afford to buy one very often at the prices they are.....

I'll share some Taylor's with anyone, especially if you're buying

I like a good Port as well either Tawny or Ruby.

We probably drank Taylor's in the Sergeant's Mess - I have to confess that I do like a good Port, but I will not go as far as to blame the RAF! lol

I'm often fond of a snifter myself.

Mrs. Miggins dear, it is so nice to see you again! I hope you will fill us all in on who... er... uh... I mean what you've been doing during your long absence.

Why, thank you.

I took your advice and allowed one or two selective suitors to kiss me on the veranda. I've never been the same since.

I also recommend being kissed on the lanai, but NOT on the bidet!

4th April in the 57th year of her Majesties reign

My dear friends,

After a rather long trip to the Doldrums via the Panama Canal, I am delighted to be able to inform you, that I have recently disembarked from a Royal Mail Steamer at Harwich, and repaired here with good haste. And it appears not a moment to soon. A good acquaintance of mine has just made me aware that my beloved, Muriel Miggins, has made an all too brief appearance, and has been observed making her way, albeit a trifle unsteadily, towards the Olde Pie Shoppe.

I shall take this opportunity to investigate further, and to that end, I have called the hall porter to summon a Hansom cab. I will keep you good people appraised of forthcoming events.

Yours in Anticipation,

Sidney J. Snodgrass

My Dear Mrs. K,

What an absolutely exquisite pleasure to have this opportunity renew our previous acquaintance. I am beside myself with pleasure, and both of us send our heartfelt felicitations and good wishes.

I have recently returned from an extended visit to the Colonies and other rather far flung outposts of Her Majesties Realm. But I have to say that a dry Martini in Kuala Lumpur doesn't quite match up to a pink gin in the Mayfair Officers club don't ya know old gel.

But alas my dear lady, I am finding myself bereft, and it is indeed fortuitous that you have contacted me at this particular time. Would you perchance have any knowledge of the whereabouts of one Muriel Miggins?

I beg to remain Ma'am,

Your most Faithful Servant,

Sidney J. Snodgrass (Retd.)

Oh Mr. S! I don't want to tell tales out of school, but I believe that the lovely Mrs. Muriel Miggins has fallen upon hard times. I understand that the bakery she once owned, yes the very place where she turned out such lovely tarts and strumpets... er... uh... I mean crumpets has failed during these difficult economic times. I do not know the current whereabouts of Mrs. Miggins, but when you do locate her perhaps you can be of some assistance to her in finding a loophole that will get her out of her difficult position? With all of your connections you might be able to assist her in finding lucrative employment, perhaps in the service industry?

Fondly,
Mrs. K

I may have fallen on hard times, but my crusty bloomers are still intact.

Crusty bloomers? I am not really certain I want to know.
