so, i downloaded the BOINC software for the first time, and it seems to be working, except im not sure where it's uploading the work done or the credits to. If i click "your account" in boinc this comes up:

Account data for Lanndon

SETI@home member since 12 Sep 2006
Country

Total credit 82
Recent average credit 5.42
Computers View

Which is strange because i've definitely not been a member for that long. Further, if i go into my account through the site or click on "my preferences" in boinc, it comes up with the account i made a couple days ago, but it does not appear to be receiving any data from my computer. How can I attach my computer to my account? I've tried using Tools- Attach to project or account manager in BOINC, but this keeps resulting in an error.

Interesting.

In BOINC Manager, detach from the project, and attach again using the email address and password that you have supplied to post here.

Nope. You still have no computers attached to the account with which you are posting.

Try logging out of the web site, and then log back in again with that email address and password that you used.

When i check my computers in my account settings, I see this:

ID: 5344782
Details | Tasks
Cross-project stats:
Lanndon 0.00 0 6.10.18

wouldn't that mean that my account has recognized my computer?

Yes, it does seem to be working. That computer was not there when I looked earlier.

At the time the replica database was probably still lagging behind on the master database.
