Message 981446 - Posted: 20 Mar 2010, 3:08:08 UTC

I have a new ASUS K70IC Laptop with a Intel Duo P8700 processor w/4GB memory and Nvidia GEFORCE GT 220M Graphics processor w/1GB memory. OS is Win 7 Home Premium Ver. 6.1 (Build 7600).

I have been running SETI almost not stop for the last Month.

Version of BOINC Manager is 6.10.18 wxWidgets Version 2.8.10.

When I checked the Manager the other day, it appeared that the only processor working on SETI was the GPU.

Does anyone know why the duel processors would have stopped?

In the preferences under processor usage I have listed that 'On multiprocessor systems, use at most' set to 100.00, same on 'Use at most'.

Thank you in advance for your help.

Don't ask me why - but my Duel processors are back now.

The only thing I did after posting my message was to 're-type' '100' in the '% of the processors' and '% CPU time'. I did change the 'Switch between applications ...' from 60 to 10 minutes.

What ever it was, the processors are back, and I can try to catch up with some of you.

Thanks for listening to me.
