Something must be happening in the "office" again,
And no more tasks are being created (except maybe rejected validations?)

Hello, I get an error message every time my computer goes into standby, the screen appears with the SETI projects being downloaded and then it gives me the following message: DEFAULT SCREENSEVER UNRECOVERABLE MODULE HAD AN ERROR! A person can explain what I can do? Otherwise, everything works properly.

Forgive us, we are all a little shell-shocked this morning. No one is saying you are stupid for asking a question it's just that we have been answering the same questions for four or five days now. Things are just starting to get back to normal and you should be able to get new work soon. If there is still a problem the guys should clear it up when they get in to the lab this morning.

Yah, it's been discussed before, but others are wondering too.

The "(Project has no jobs available)" message reflects the interface between the Feeder and Scheduler, a limited set of no more than 100 tasks that a Scheduler process examines to see if there are some which satisfy your host's request. The Feeder takes from the "Results ready to send" queue to refill that 100 task buffer, then goes to sleep for 2 seconds if the project is using the default setting. The type of work each of the 100 slots will get is preassigned, there are a few for Astropulse v5 and v505 but most are for Enhanced/Multibeam. If a hungry CUDA beast asks for a lot of work just after the Feeder has gone to sleep, all other hosts get the "(Project has no jobs available)" message until the Feeder wakes up and refills the slots. Note that the download pipe won't support actual download of 100 WUs in two seconds, so it isn't practical to increase the rate until we get more bandwidth.

Of course sometimes there aren't any ready to send so the Feeder can only put what's been produced since it went to sleep into the buffer. That just makes the "no jobs available" happen quicker.

Under half hour ago the Replica Database was 72319 seconds behind but was active.
That equated to midnight when Eric said it went down.
So it is now slowly catching up and we will soon see up to date data again.

Was that really necessary?

Perhaps you find it normal to post the whole contents of your messages tab, but there are ways to prune that, you know? For less scrolling for us to do and for legibility. 10 to 20 lines is more than enough. Click first line, hold shift, scroll down 10 to 20 lines, click last line, click "Copy selected messages" and post those here. That's even possible on a Mac.

Especially when they're all repeating the exact same thing, it isn't necessary to post 2 days and 2 hours worth of scheduler contacts on the forums. All you do is annoy others and add clutter.

Your problem is your BOINC version, which doesn't delete the old and get the new TCP/IP stack - used to store the legible internet address of the Seti site. A way to get that done is to restart the computer and then let BOINC do a new contact.

You can also try to update your BOINC version to 6.10.21, or wait for the BOINC developers to release the latest version.
