And the Darkness eats at the Light. And the pillars crumble the bird has young but in an ocean of darkness the Phoenix bursts into flames. Tomorrow is yesterday the ring is closed there is no beginning and there is no end Death is Rebirth there should be no sorrow but joy I throw myself into Darkness to embrace the Light CT (2011) Carola ------- I'm multilingual - I can misunderstand people in several languages! |

"The Writer" they seek peace said the writer to no one i could see i am bound to seek knowledge no hero stuff for me and i await the dream that the writer said would come to my rescue ships of silver ships of light with a semi-solid crew and shine down to me from the stars come the angels from space bring me up to your world leave a question in my place take me over where you go let me be there so i know it's true what the writer knew they want love said the writer it is that they do not know what we have has been denied them that's what made them go and i await the dream that the writer said would come to my rescue ships of silver ships of light with a semi-solid crew and shine down to me from the stars come the angels from space bring me up to your world leave a question in my place take me over where you go let me be there so i know it's true what the writer knew (2010 db michel) PROUD TO BE TFFE! |

"Life is what happens while you are making other plans..." But some of us never made any other plans. We just drifted with the tide of friendship. Whiskey..the happiness with the moment. Cars, drugs, whatever came along... We chose it. The easy way, the loser's way. But we were unable to oppose it. And so it took us, year by year. Long away from where we would have drove it. And then we get to the end of the road. And seek a sane way about. We look to find a friend to help, but hell, we had kicked them all out. So we sit her mired in smoke and mud wondering how in the 'F' I got here. And then in a moment, it becomes quite so clear. You got lost quite a bit ago on your way. I know I have trouble, quite easy to see, and for some to comment about. They only know me for what I choose to let them see. And the rest they could not even count. I know I'm in trouble..... I know it is sad for the few left along on the ride. But let me tell you that I still cling to you.. The last few left in the car on my ride. I am swinging the wheel to the left and the right trying to find the right path. Crashed badly one weekend........ it has left quite a scar. Some places I can never go back. Seems that somebody I trusted betrayed me and then the world came crashing throughout. They hauled me off to the 4th floor and then tried telling me what I was about. Was locked in a bed with no chance of escape. Saw doctors come in one by one. And the f words exclaimed, as almost in glee oh, we have another one. The look in their eye was so sick'ning to see. They all thought that they had me sussed. 'Kitties' says he? Who does this man think he be? He is lost, let us save him, we must. I escaped with my sanity when a doc came along. And listened to what I had to say. He said....... "It's not you who are lost, it't the cops at your cost who put you, and should quite be here." Moral of the story goes like this......... Do not EVER get drunk and try to dial up somebody on a crisis intervention hotline to talk to somebody. They are not there for conversation, have access to your phone number and address, and will with no delay at all, call the local gendarmes. "Freedom is just Chaos, with better lighting." Don't reckon most folks will remember or regret when the kittlyman leaves his last regrets. Y'all been mighty helpful.....though the man, he does forget. Ya see, I'm simple through and through...... If my words don't be your likin' Well, let me tell ya, I can give ya more than you. Done pissin' in the wind.....as my friends had told me true. Done better than a .45, my aim is true......is you? Got a lotta things to be thankful for...... and a lot that has yet come due. Never killed a man........ But never gave the Devil his due. "Freedom is just Chaos, with better lighting." Returning to our corner, I'd like to submit a well-known verse, from William Blake's "Augeries of Innocence". Perhaps, it will soothe some hurt, which I read in everyone's latest poems. . . To see a world in a grain of sand And a Heaven in a wild flower Hold Infinity in the palm of your hand And Eternty in an hour. * |

"Empty Is My World (Without You)" empty is my world... empty is my world empty is my world without you empty is my world... empty is my world empty is my world without you somewhere in the stars way out there past mars there's a beacon in the sky and it's callin' sends it's best to you all it says is true when the time is right they'll be comin' empty is my world... empty is my world empty is my world without you empty is my world... empty is my world empty is my world without you tell it to your soul the part of you that knows that the voices in the sky have been callin' something we don't know in the distant shadow glows we are in their sights they've been watchin' empty is my world... empty is my world empty is my world without you empty is my world... empty is my world empty is my world without you (bridge) in the silence of the night when they reach out gonna feel it in your bones getting closer every day without a doubt hope is movin' in will we be foe or friend? empty is my world... empty is my world empty is my world without you empty is my world... empty is my world empty is my world without you (2008 db michel) Btw...For those who may be curious...This was written as a take on what a friendly message from an extra-terrestrial intelligence might be like if decoded...And human reflection on what such an experience might be like...The friendly and rather lonely alien message...Empty is my world...without you...
