Hi all! I get the following error when I try to connect BOINC to a project (SETI for instance, but this happens with every other project I choose) Fri Mar 5 11:50:38 2010||This computer is not attached to any projects Fri Mar 5 11:50:38 2010||Visit http://boinc.berkeley.edu for instructions Fri Mar 5 11:50:44 2010||Fetching configuration file from http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/get_project_config.php Fri Mar 5 11:53:15 2010||Project communication failed: attempting access to reference site Fri Mar 5 11:55:47 2010||BOINC can't access Internet - check network connection or proxy configuration. For some reason, it simply doesn't fetch any info from a project, and renders my boinc installation useless. My connection is very open, and I'm not behind a proxy. I'm running MacOS X 10.6.2 on a Macbook Pro 2.53 Ghz intel core 2 duo. BOINC version 6.10.21 Anyone got ideas? Thanks in advance :) |

If you have a firewall installed on the system (software firewall), you will need to allow the Boinc binary through on TCP ports 80 and 443. |
