I subscribed to the thread "not requesting new task catch-22???" and then it was hidden by moderators.

This was about a week ago and it doesn't matter how many times I click on the notification, it will not go away. It seems to be permanently stuck in my new post notifications.

I'm subscribed to quite a few threads and with each new post I get a notification. Then look at the thread and the notification for it in my account page goes away as it should. The catch-22 notification stays..

I know this doesn't sound like the worlds biggest problem but it's increasingly annoying to me and obviously something is messed up with the notifications system.

I've had subscribed threads hidden many times in the past and the notifications for them disappear. I also have firefox set to delete all cookies and cache when closed. and I've deleted them all manually to make sure there wasn't a cookie or cache stuck in the browser.

I'll unhide then rehide the thread. Then see if it clears after that

Nope, I clicked on it again on my acct page, came back to the acct page and then closed firefox. It's still there.

It might work if you unhide it and I can actually go to it while it's unhidden. But I'm at lunch now and won't be back home for several hours. Maybe we can work out an exact time to do this later in a Private message. Have to go back to work now.

Thanks for trying.

Okay! Skildude unhid the thread and I opened it. Now the new post notification is finally gone!

Thanks again!
