Just checked Boincstats, and nothing is showing for new stats updates since a big day on the 23rd. And nothing pending for tomorrow yet either. Something overlooked in the 'big recovery'? I got a little over a half million credits Boincstats does not know about yet. "Freedom is just Chaos, with better lighting." Alan Dean Foster |

Another reference to Another problem? At least BOINCstats is intelligent enough to check the dates, and not overwrite newer stats with older ones. |

It should be remembered that when they had the last larger outage they left the stats export off for a few days to let all the dust settle and the servers to catch up with all the extra requests they are getting. I am betting they may wait until next week's outage before turning it back on. I could be wrong. My movie https://vimeo.com/manage/videos/502242 |

But there have been other time too that the service was just 'forgotten' to be restarted. That's all I was asking. I understand more than most around here.......I just don't remember as much anymore. Too Funny, I was telling a smart *ss apprentice just the other day that I had probably forgotten more already than he will likely know in his lifetime.....LOL Official Abuser of Boinc Buttons... I am missing my credits on the BOINC Statistics of the world for the last weeks. They only show up mere 100 credits gained on Feb.21st, but nothing at all before and nothing at all after this date. Although my credits still are recorded and shown on my signature graphic with a relative high RAC scoring, my RAC on my profile page is close to zero. It seems to me that there must be something like a shortcut between the different web pages. The linkage is broken, in plain words. Someone else experiencing this? |

Once again, the notion of "Best Five Days" really means "Worst Five Weeks" :-) |

Don't know about that... this won't make the top 5 day list for me. But then again, ran out of Cuda WUs a couple of days in. -Dave |

Stats pages still having problems by the looks of it. The place to watch is http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/stats/ Yes, it looks as if they did one dump by hand around lunchtime Friday (times on that page are Berkeley local, UTC-8), but they haven't got the daily automatic run working yet. Another one for the 'To do' list next week. |

I just like things to run smoothly, efficiently and accurately. Even if they're statistics, LOL :-) |

I am only going to state the "Obvious." There was a Database CRASH! Along with that a Web Server CRASH! When it was reported that the Stats Dump was from the 16th that was a RESTORE! Then a manual update happened. We are now in a recovery of the WEB SERVER, Other Servers and Permissions. So after the Airconditioning problem melted down a UPS (which not supposed to happen). One could expect other problems to occur shortly thereafter. My only Question is, "Do You want Fries with That?" Regards Please consider a Donation to the Seti Project. |

oO sry to hear from such a painfull condition... But all have two sides of view: Ur very lucky, that the "melted" UPS havnt take out the whole server closet. Wish u luck in finding the right configuration-scripts from the backup *g* edit: and the fries please red+white *g* - Performance is not a simple linear function of the number of CPUs you throw at the problem. - |

The wu's are coming, the results are being processed... the most important stuff is working again.. they'll get to this also.. I'm fairly certain the Berkeley team knows that for quite a few people stats is a part that makes it more fun an makes people crunch that little bit more... ;) We'll get by in the meantime ;) The SETI@Home Gauntlet 2012 april 16 - 30| info / chat | STATS |
