I have tried again and again to make the rescheduler work on my XP 64 machine and no matter what I do either the folder doesn't exist or if it likes the folders it finds no units....Just wondering if others have same problem?

I've used 1.8 & 1.9 on XP x64 w/o any issues.

What destination folders do you use?

The one shown on about the second line of BOINC's startup messages.

Edit - maybe the fifth line. Inside the first half-dozen, anyway.

That's gonna depend on your Boinc installation....
I am using 6.10.0...
The main path is C:\Program Files\BOINC
The data path is C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\BOINC

The machine I have running rescheduler now has BOINC in D:\BOINC & D:\BOINC\DATA. D:\BOINC\DATA contains the client_state.xml which rescheduler needs to modify. If that machines wasn't at work I'd get a screen shot of what is in there for ya.

EDIT: I don't think it matters, but I put rescheduler in the folder D:\BOINC.

Shouldn't matter where the rescheduler .exe is stored. I run it from the temp folder I originally downloaded it to. Just put a shortcut on the desktop to launch it.

Yes I did run rescheduler on XP x64 pro, and initially had trouble working out the paths to put in rescheduler's configuration, because I couldn't find the paths!

Just a navigation tip. If you're using the default install locations, and it's one of the 'mystery' application data folders you're having trouble finding, you should be able to open an explorer window, punch in one of the windows predefined path environment variables (adding percent signs around it), such as %APPDATA% for the user's application data folder, or %PROGRAMDATA% for the all users program data folder. You can then copy/paste the location it takes you to for whatever you need.

You can find out what other predefined environment variables are set by typing 'set' at a command prompt, and define you're own in the environment variables ( my computer-->properties-->advanced settings ).

Works for getting around Win7 x64 quite quickly, and I'm pretty sure I was using the same method when I used XP x64 pro, after getting frustrated always searching for the superhidden folders.

I can't stand the location Boinc chooses, As Its a hidden folder and so It's sometimes not possible to monitor the data folder remotely, So I moved It once, Here's the folder I use under XP64:

Data directory: G:\My Docs\Boinc-Files

Oh and I've never rescheduled, nor do I ever plan to.

Gotta be pointing to the wrong locations.
Check them in the settings tab. Make any necessary corrections, then close the rescheduler and restart it. Check the paths again.
It's not the program....

C:\Program Files\BOINC
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\BOINC
Copied right out of my rescheduler....Anything else I put in there and it tells me the folder doesn't exist. I guess I will try to reinstall boinc and make it go to C:

If it's not in the C drive now, you need to change it in rescheduler to point to the correct location...
Have you checked the Boinc startup messages to confirm where the files it is using are?

It is in the folders that both you and I have. The folders are there and I can see them both in explore. When I had GPU units it would see them just not the CPU, now I am out of GPU and need to send some to it but can't. I only have one HardDrive in this machine.....

Well I give up once again. Still shows 0 slots occupied and for sure has the right destinations. No GPU work for this machine until it decides to download I guess. Changed setting to 10 days awhile ago but still not asking for work. Works fine on my Windows 7 machine.

Well, it's got me stumped.
If you run it and hit the test button, is there any useful information in the logs tab that might give a clue?

Nope it shows the couple times it found GPU units and that is about it. Just shows 0 slots filled.

Just another thing to eliminate, are the tasks showing as v6.08 . Rescheduler won't work with v6.09

ReSchedule.ini tells the program where to look for the data and boinc executables. Just find that file, probably in the same directory with ReSchedule.exe, and then point it to the directories on your system.

The BoincBinPath should be the directory where BoincMgr.exe and Boinc.exe live on your system.

Here's what my ReSchedule.ini looks like:
Position=75
OnlyVLarVHar=1
TrueAngleRate=0
DataPath=C:\ProgramData\BOINC\
BoincBinPath=C:\Program Files (x86)\BOINC\
VharToCpu=0

[Automatic]
Automatic=0
Interval=4
CPUPerInterval=50
GPUPerInterval=150
