I'm running BOINC 4.13 on solaris and there
seems to be a problem with the SETI client:

2004-10-20 15:01:12 [SETI@home] Throughput 1523472 bytes/sec
2004-10-20 15:01:14 [SETI@home] Starting result 14mr04aa.17223.23169.903384.238_6 using setiathome version 4.02
2004-10-20 15:01:17 [SETI@home] Result 14mr04aa.17223.23169.903384.238_6 exited with zero status but no 'finished' file
2004-10-20 15:01:17 [SETI@home] If this happens repeatedly you may need to reset the project.

Any ideas on what's going on?

On a side note, it looks like LHC and climateprediction don't have solaris clients?

thanks,
Larry

For starters, the _6 at the end of the result name indicates that this is the sixth attempt to process the work unit. I'm guessing that there is something with the WU itself that is causing the application to hiccough. I wouldn't worry about it. Subsequent work units should process just fine.

I detached from the project and then reattached. I'm
still seeing the same problem:

2004-10-21 10:49:41 [SETI@home] Finished download of setiathome_4.02_sparc-sun-solaris2.7
2004-10-21 10:49:41 [SETI@home] Throughput 1361194 bytes/sec
2004-10-21 10:49:42 [SETI@home] Starting result 14mr04aa.17223.15746.79812.90_3 using setiathome version 4.02
2004-10-21 10:49:45 [SETI@home] Result 14mr04aa.17223.15746.79812.90_3 exited with zero status but no 'finished' file
2004-10-21 10:49:45 [SETI@home] If this happens repeatedly you may need to reset the project.

I've also tried doing a -reset_project with the same results.

thanks,
Larry
