I have three Macs running BONIC. Two are fine; one (iMac 2.66 GHz w/4G) continually has problems. I have uninstalled BOINC and reinstalled it. Now what? All other access via the internet seems fine. I am in Taiwan. Any ideas? |

Care to describe said problems? It's really hard to make suggestions without anything to work with. |

Right. The iMac cannot "connect", ie. get and send jobs. The iMac access to other internet sites appears unaffected. A few times I have uninstalled and reinstalled the BOINC software and that gave a temporary fix. Recently, that has not worked. It just continues to say "Connection Failed." Mind you, the other two machines continue to work without incident --- one (MacBookPro in the same room over the same wiring and hub, the other (G5 iMac Power PC) at home. I hope this helps you that you might help me. Thanks. NP |

It's still a bit sparse. :-) The easiest way for you to provide information would be to post the first about 20 lines from the Messages tab after a reboot. And then some lines around a connection attempt. All three of your computers are listet as having tasks downloaded, though. So, it seems not to be a permanent problem.
