Your computer doesn't need any more work because it's already got too much. That's why it's not requesting any CPU work. It's requesting GPU work then realizing that you don't have an nVidia GPU, so it's not sending you any GPU work.

ClimatePrediction's long workunits are monopolizing your CPUs. I'm willing to bet that if you were to look on your Tasks tab, the ClimatePrediction workunits state, "Running, High Priority". This means that BOINC's internal scheduler thinks you have too much work on hand and wants to process some of it before getting more. This feature is in place to prevent a computer from downloading too much work and missing deadlines. When running in Priority mode, BOINC ignores resource shares until it thinks all is safe again.

This is where debt comes in. When ignoring resource shares, BOINC will add up all the time given not given to one project and attempt to "repay" that once everything is running fine, so that in the long term, your resource shares are met.

The hardest thing for BOINC to do, though, is balance it evenly with ClimatePrediction's workunits because they are so large. It will eventually work itself out in the long run though.

There's nothing wrong with your system. All is as expected.

I looked into tasks the other day and there was no seti work. today there is. You were right. Seti has always been my priority so the climateprediction thingy is toast for awhile. Actually the only other one I want to do is Folding@home. Thanks Ya'll!

Too little VIDEO-Memory, anyway. 256MByte is absolute minimum, for most of the projects.

and the fact that its an AI card means he won't be getting any seti work.

ATI is not CUDA
