	The loss of a kitty just comes sooooooooooo hard to me, because they are such innocent souls. They ask nothing of you but your love. And they give back more than they take. Don't think many on the planet can claim that. That's why it hurts so damned much when they leave. Because they have left nothing behind. They gave it all whilts they were here. I miss her so. 	Bad day.......... Wake up to find your little ray of sunshine is not there anymore.......her little bowl of food uneaten. She was always scampering about...every moment, she just needed to be with me....... I knew it was coming. Gave her every last ounce of love I could for the last few weeks. But seeing the train coming down the tracks does not ease the pain when it hits you. There is simply no solace to be found here. When her sister, Tigger, passed, I knew it was coming too. Spent 9 months pumping IV fluid into her to bolster her failing kidneys.......and she passed peacefully one night. Sqirrrel was a good kitty. She loved me every second of every day. And right now, I just don't know how I shall continue on without her. How long is 15 years? Not long enough. Kitties should last forever. They are surely deserving of that. Guess that's why they love us so much while they are here. The kitty avatar has lost a true friend. She left as she came........paw on my lap. She looked up at me and I knew it was her time to go......she knew. I am lost right now.......simply lost. 	Every day for 15 years......she was here. It's just not the same now. Just not the same. Tigger II is now sitting next to me, I think she knows something is wrong. When Squirrel's sister Tigger died, she knew.......She knew. Prowled about the house for a month or more looking for her. She knew. it's the weekend.....and it won't really hit me until I come home from work on Monday and she is not here to greet me. She was always the first one to come and tangle me feet up when I got home. I am not dealing with this well. Death does not fit in my world......I never dealt with my brother's passing so many years ago. The finality of her leaving me has not quite hit yet. Even now, I keep thinking that she may come around the corner to give me a meow.. But it is not to be. When Oscar left, I cried for days......but it was not the same.......Oscar was Lori's kitty.
