Many of you have probably seen this 3-hour series on PBS but I'll post the link here in reference to the topic, the known universe. The series also speaks about many of the 'unknown' mysteries and 'unsolved' problems.

Nova: The Elegant Universe indexed into several short topical segments for casual viewing.
