Does anyone know of a project that works with CUDA 6.10.17 running on an nvidia 9500 GT (1 GB) and driver version 195.17 on 64 bit Ubuntu Linux 9.04. I've tried everything that looks like it might work, but no project will send any work; except GPUGrid which considers the card too slow and doesn't allow enough time to finish. I don't get enough information from most projects to know for sure if they don't support my rig or if I am doing something wrong. I have another box with a 9800 GT card and GPUGrid is happy with it, though neither seti nor collatz is.

Thanks for any help or advice.

It's not your GPU but the fact that SETI doesn't have a stock CUDA application for unix.

If you want to let SETI run on your GPU, you'll have to look for third-party solutions (Lunatics? Dotsch?).

If you happen to run 64bit linux (as the 5.28 application suggests), you might find this thread at BOINCStats interesting.

Roy Strachan, SETI@home_CUDA_app for LINUX you can find here on Crunch3r's site:

IIRC, it don't run well on all LINUX distros.

For more infos/questions have a look on the opt. crew site:

[EDIT: Don't forget to install also CUDA_V2.3, which should be available also for LINUX.]

City of Elgin, you have your PCs hidden. So I don't know if you already let run opt. apps.
If not, install and you have a double RAC!
Nothing is easier.. ;-)
