Hi

I am thinking of buying a new Mac Pro 8 core. If I spent the extra money for 4 GTX 120 Graphics Cards, would BOINC/SETI be able to make use of the multiple GPUs?

Currently, no.

There are no 64-bit CUDA libraries yet available for OS X.

If you want to do it via Boot-Camp it should work fine though.

You can't use GPU(graphics cards) to work for SETI, beacuse SETI does not have CUDA applications for Mac yet. But you can use it for other project. Collatz Conjecture and Prime Grid both has CUDA apps for Mac.
