Hello everybody, just discovered this project and the concept seems absolutely awesome to me, since I rarely use more than 20-30% of my CPU while doing daily tasks on my computer (which is >8 hours a day).

I'm running BOINC 6.10.18 on Windows XP, and I've completed either 1 or 2 work units so far. (Upload successful from the message log). However, my credits (on the site) and work done (in BOINC) are still at 0. Is there a lagtime between submission (uploaded ~10 hours ago) and credit? Or is something wrong and I need to change something to be contributing?

Sorry if this is posted somewhere else, I searched the forums (but I might just be a horrible searcher).

I wouldn't say "horrible" ;-) you're just lacking the right keywords.
Try "replica database" for starters.

The replica data base (currently offline) is were queries for details of work assigned and work completed is made, which is why your account isn't up to date at the moment.

Results also needs to be validated against a 'wingman'. Until that occurs work done is not credited to your account. Depending on how fast the turn around time for the wingman for a WU (Work Unit) is, Credit granting normally can take several days to weeks. Some people carry a fairly large cache of work especially when there are expected (and unexpected) outages as we have experienced for the last week and are likely to occur over the next few days. In my case, I do work for several projects so often a WU can be in my cache for more than a week before it is completed and reported. Actual due dates are more than a month so slower system (or part time crunchers) can take that long to get the work done.
