	Just for fun can anyone figure this out? My Brother is an Electrical contractor and he just wired a cabin for a Ramtha Follower(Lots of them around here..) Anyway after it was done being wired the general contractor had to completely wrap the interior with sheet copper supplied by customer to keep out alien waves...Even had to solder the seems. Now I have always heard of Aluminum being used(Hats) as was wondering we they would chose expensive copper over cheap aluminum and we were also wondering how they would keep the waves from coming thru the outlets? LOL ____________ Official Abuser of Boinc Buttons... And no good credit hound!

Hi, to shield 'unknown or alien' (radio)waves, you need "Faradays cage". The difference in conductance is very small, although in favor of (siler/gold), but copper or aluminium, is also good. 	Too funny, was out in Chehalis Wa today adding some circuits and we noticed the entire attic was sheeted in copper. I asked if they were Ramtha people and they asked why. We told them about the copper attic and they said they bought the house from some very strange people and they thought they were Ramtha followers. Wonder if they should cover Arcibo with Copper maybe we would find their waves....LOL This is just too funny had never heard of this before. Funny people have to shiels themselves from Aliens and we can't find them at all. Still wondering how copper could be better than aluminum and if I should start selling Copper Hats! The only decision's you really need to make is which is cheaper? and which will look best as both copper and aluminum will both change colour in time. As Fred J. Verster said, your building a Faradays cage,so make sure to ground the whole thing to earth. John. ____________

	Ramtha is just another cult that seeks legitimacy. from the Yogis that want all your worldly goods in Oregon, to 7th day adventists, mormons, Jehovahs witnesses and Scientology I'd say we are in pretty bad shape when people leave their religion to find some other nonsense to believe in. Some thing easier and just as crazy. I mention these groups out of memory, I think Christians(Catholics) were considered a cult by the Romans etc. I read the Celestine prophesies. About 15 years ago. I thought it was an interesting book. I later found it was an introduction to another new age Philosophy. They even created a workbook so you could use the "revealed" prophesies to make your life better. What a bunch of hooie. They even had meetings much like an AA meeting in which people became more involved in the Prophesies. I think the folks would have been better off watching their TV's and tossing any money they'd spent on these new age books in the gutter. At least there a homeless person or some kid could find it and use it as they needed ____________ Proud member of TSWB. End terrorism by building a school

	I call it like I see it. Not to insult anyone following any specific religious group but most newer and some older socalled religious orgnizations barely pass muster as a religion. Religion in Texas is a status symbol. See how big my megachurch is. See how I can't see the preacher so I get to watch him on a big screen that I help pay for. See how I shake his hand and he doesn't know me from Adam even though I've been their for him. Yet the biggest problem with "modern" religious experience is that when a person is in need the church defers to the state. So much for all those $$$ you gave the preacher. Clearly the message is collect cash and never help anyone other than yourself with that cash. yet I digress. I had a GF about 12 years ago that was talking to Jehovah's Witnesses. I saw first hand how a vulnerable person is persuaded to ignore everything they've learned in their religious life and start believing complete strangers. It's not an overnight thing either. I was even invited to a "bible" study. They insisted on using their version of a bible. I chose the Holy bible. The one that claims to have the closest interpretation of the words of the old and new testament. Long story short, someone did a complete rewrite of their book. They loved to use partial quotes. See the bible has verses. and each verse is a complete thought. Yet the JW's were and do use partial verses to make their case on many philosophical points. Fortunately for me, I'm a jerk. I pointed this out and insisted they read all the verse. They really didn't want to but I insisted. When read in full their arguments for their "way" were quickly muted. I'm no biblical scholar but it seems shameful that ignorant people are allowed to prey on the weak like that. They believe what they believe because it was interpreted that way for them. Thats called being in a cult. Being Catholic, I know my religion holds certain things to be true and others to be what an individual can interpret from them. When I'm not allowed a certain latitude for interpretation of the bible on anything presented to me, I see someone trying to maneuver me from the truth. I really don't like the idea of people deciding what I should believe in and if I don't then I can never belong to their group.
