Some more old timers good to see everyone. ;) "Some men have it, Some men get it, Some men do it, I just sit back and wait until they screw up and take it."Bishopâ„¢ |

Is there a way to combine accounts? I originally joined back in 11 May 2003, and even got to download the 100 unit completion certificate. I've been a truck driver for the last 21 years and got out of it, so now I have a lot more home time and re-joined seti. Don't really have a lot of work units from the old account (dial-up internet from the past sucked), but still it would be nice to see my original join date on my new account :) |

I tried that link and clicked on my registration date, but there were no entries. But the link in the previous post worked and now my account shows my original join date. Thanks again WinterKnight. |

[and, as well - find your Classic SETI here: Registration Index for Active Users] Interesting when you check the stats. Up until May 14, only a few hundred per day. May 14 10K+ and May 15 17K+ new users. |

I joined 22 May 1999, 99,897 Classic units. Those took FOREVER on an old first-generation Pentium. Little did I know that in a bit over 10 years I would have a water cooled I7 Quadcore hyperthreaded to 8 cores and overclocked to 4.2Ghz. And 10 years from now . . . . ??? |

Class of Jan 14 2001. I was a late joiner having seen a Science program on TV that mentioned Seti@Home and it's search for ET. Thanks to Dr. C.E.T.I for the link which allowed me to find the info listed under my original user name. Name Seti-Seeker Date First Registered Sun Jan 14 13:38:06 2001 Date Last Result Sat Jul 17 14:33:32 2004 Result received 1038 Total CPU time 1.511 years Average CPU time per work unit 12 hr 45 min 14.0 sec It also provided me the date I switched to Boinc. I'd been lurking the Boinc forum for some time before that. My first post on 3 Sep 2004 inquired about the stability of V4.6/.7 has I was still running V3.20. By the end of September I had added LHC and CPDN. I guess I've gained confidence since then, as I now usually upgrade to the latest development version within a day of its posting. After reviewing some of the early postings, the problems we now have with Boinc seem quite trivial in comparison. Boinc V7.2.42 Win7 i5 3.33G 4GB, GTX470 |

Class of 2000. Took a hiatus but back with a new number cruncher. Given that my start date of Feb 29 only comes around every 4 years not sure if I am really celebrating 10 years or 2 1/2, lol. |

So, in another 10 years (I'll be in my 40's!), we'll have 128 cores inside the space of an answering machine. I hope. |

SETI@home classic workunits 47 SETI@home classic CPU time 1,051 hours Started in April 2000 with a gap in between of some years and I am gladly surprised that I am still here.... Not easy to crunch 24/7 but happy to support the project with my two cents. |

23 Oct 1999 - 4331 WU. If the SETI only had the support for ATI I would have a better result now ;-) Regards Chris |
