Hi, I have set up boinc on all of my machines. During the install I did not want Boinc to start at computer startup, so I unchecked the option (Seti 1 is still running and starting at turnon). I was happy to start boinc manually. Is it possible to change this option later. I have not found out how to do this if its possible. Ta Nairb |

Placing a shortcut in your startup folder will start BOINC when Windows starts. |

I'm afraid that will only start the program after you log in, rather than when the machine starts. If you have the computer set to automatically log in at boot, this method will work. Otherwise, start it as a service or use the "Scheduled Tasks" function to start it with the computer. > Placing a shortcut in your startup folder will start BOINC when Windows > starts. > > |

run boinc as service for installation use on command-line "boinc_cli.exe -install" make the service start automatically and give the service account access to boinc files |
