Just curious....

In just the past few days, my RAC has dropped from around 117,000 to around 111,000 and my pendings have zoomed from about 327,000 to over 400,000....

I know pending credits are not a problem, and I don't worry about them.....they'll all come home in good time.

Just wondered if anybody else was seeing a similar run-up in pendings. It had been pretty stable for me for some weeks.

I suppose the download bug could have something to do with it......or NEZ's computers shutting down (LOL).

Mark,

My pending is up about 15% this week and my RAC down about 6% so far. Seems to have about stabilised now. As you say, no worries, they come home to roost eventually :)

Pendings up 10k (30%) and RAC down 1k. Not in the kitties league (or is that sand box), but a similar pattern. Pendings starting to even out.

You could 'bridge' the unplanned server outage with your 10 day WU cache?

I not, because my GPU cruncher can hold max. ~ 3 days (because of 'buggy' BOINC.. ) . So he idled some days.
The QX6700 have also only a 3 day WU cache, to hold small the request/report (file) time.

So my pending increased again.. like every time after unplanned outage..

Current..
Pending credit: 351,526.85

AFAIK, this should be now my new record..

So if you are also my 'wingman'.. take patience.. your (our) credits will be granted soon..

IIRC, my RAC was ~ 75,000 before the unplanned server outage..

My RAC had a sustained spike about a week or 2 ago, and the pendings dropped off.
The last few days the RAC has dropped away, and the pendings had stayed down till today; now they're back up to record or near record levels.

Well...since this morning, my RAC has continued it's decline to a bit over 110,000 and my pending is up to over 408,000.

My pending was up to 283k a few days ago, dropped to around 250k yesterday and is now back to 260k (Cha Cha Cha)

All machines have taken a hit but this could be because I took the opportunity to change tyres and refuel a couple of machines while we were running under the pace car last week.

P.S.
Going on past experience I expect things to change early next week when all the 10 day cache holders start to report in the units they downloaded after the last outage. Look for the Boom.

Up for an early morning rig check, and since last nights post....

Will wait for the Boom.

Judging by what I've seen coming down my pipe this morning, and the upward curve in the Cricket graph (particularly uploads), we're in the middle of s shorty (VHAR) storm. Good thing we've got both download servers working now.

Crunching VHAR should put a smile on your RAC - all those 10-day hoarders switching to panic mode. On the other hand, if you're waiting for them to finish off the old, slow stuff - you'll have to wait a bit longer.

Wow, with my new machine coming on line recently I can't wait to see if there is a bounce. My I7 seems to be flying upwards and my others seem par for the course.

JUST an FYI. i was checking to see why my RAC went down, it looks like the credit granted went from 114 to 31 per cuda. i realy could careless about that. i would be happy with one to one( like the old days).
