I saw nVIDIA released the new 195.62 driver. [http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us] Support for CUDA_V3.0 . AFAIK, to now only CUDA_V3.0 BETA available. For more infos.. visit the opt. crew site: [http://lunatics.kwsn.net] |

Yes, my own test showed - not all new is better.. I let run nVIDIA_driver_190.38 with CUDA_V2.3 . I saw the best performance with this settings/software. OCed GTX260-216. Also other people wrote their experiences. So maybe everybody should make a test with her/his own equipment. [Anyone else using CUDA 3.0 dlls?] |

one interesting note. is the 240,250,260 cards are almost the same. You mean..? GT240 GTS250 GTX260-216 No, all different. AFAIK.. All have different GPU chips inside. The GTS250 have a mod of the old G92/b (7/8/9xxx) chip. The GTX2xx series have the GT200/b chip. The GT240 have the new Fermi chip. Amateur spoken.. Current, the fastest of this three is the GTX260-216.. |
