We may well have a faint ring given all of the geosynchronous satellites parked in equatorial orbit. maybe in a thousand years there will be enough hardware up there to create a ring. i imagine that most of them would eventually fall back to earth though.

I wonder how the constant shadow would change the climate? Might help with global warming. :p
