Not much can be done to ease the pain of losing something or someone you care deeply for. Time will eventually heal the hurt. Mark and Lori, my deepest sympathy to you both.

I shall relay your kind words to her, as she does not travel the Seti circuit...LOL.

I got a lot of pain out of my system last night, and am feeling much better today.
Oscar will be tugging at my heartstrings for some time to come, but I think the worst has passed.

I just wanted to post a note........

'They'......whoever 'they' are.........

Say that 'time heals all wounds'......

May or not be so, but in the last days, my pain of Oscar's untimely departure from our company has been replaced, at times, by some happier thoughts.

I get flashes of him and his silly grin looking up at me, his rolling over on his back, baiting me to give him attention.
His stance, his smile (yes, some kitties DO smile).
His big eyes.
His sleeping in his water dish, his dragging about his feather toy like it was a war prize.

His many hours spent sitting in the window under which he now lies.

I should know such peace.

Yes.......there are many good memories to offset the pain of his departure.
Even in his absence, he can still make me smile now and again......and again.

He was God's gift to us kitty lovers, and will always be remembered as that.

Thank you once again, to all who put up with me through the pain of his loss.

Lori and I still think of Oscar often.

He was such a special kitty.....she gets sad thinking about him often.

I miss him still....his ways...his mannerism. His way of looking at us.
