My wife tells me that there was an article in the Wall Street Journal some time ago that was an interview with the creator of Seti@Home. In summary, my wife tells me that in the article, the interviewee said that he was no longer involved in the project and that Seti@Home was bad science. Does anyone know anything about this? Thanks. |

Thanks for the links and for not shooting a messenger. ;) No sense in shooting you if your wife got the message wrong ;-) |

Thanks for the links and for not shooting a messenger. ;) Well, I might shoot him for not being able to use a search engine. :D |

being able to use a search engine. :D I have an instruction card for an automobile power inverter I bought a month ago... it instructs to always use "safety googles." Now...., _maybe_ them meant goggles, which is a pretty high metric for an inverter, or maybe they really do want me to use a search engine before using their product... I'm not sure. |

being able to use a search engine. :D One can never be to safe if a lawyer wrote it. If the inverter clips on to the car battery posts, I'd expect that statement and it is good advice. If it attaches via a lighter plug, overkill. |
