Hi,

I'm running Boinc for a while. When i upgraded from XP to Win7 i saw something strange.

Is there any connection with this site and Boinc? (The site is blocked in my router). Even after a restart the connection stays.

No.

Boinc has nothing to do with Partypoker. You should run your anti virus software and check your computer.

What version of BOINC are you running? Where is the BOINC data directory (one of the directories may be hidden, and if you have not found client_state.xml you have not found the BOINC data directory).

ok, thanks.

Scanned my system (Symantec endpoint, housecall fromTrend Micro and Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware <Mbam>) and the system is clean.

Also searched in regestry and files: Clean...

Even cleaned my DNS cache and it stays...

well.. lets hope its a ghost in my network (since its blocked in my router)

And for the other poster:

Since it affected your Skype as well, it was probably an image-link on a web site you had (last) open. Those damn adverts are around a lot on (Dutch) websites these days, as if the only 'normal' advertisements are those about Poker. Yuck.
