Dear Seti @ Home users/admin/developers, I am trying to delete my old team called 'Lunae Eclipse', and migrate my old team administrator, Aerial-z, to my new team 'Lunar Dusk'. Everything seems to be fine, and i can see the deletion confirmation page, however, about an hour later, i always recieve the following email and the old team magically reactivates itself?!! ''An instance of the BOINC-wide team 'Lunae Eclipse' has been created on the project: name: SETI@home URL: http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/'' Can someone please advise as to how i can sucessfully delete this team? Kind Regards, Aerial |

Maybe it's a BOINC wide team? Then you must go here: [http://boinc.berkeley.edu/teams] And delete it there. If not, this website will create this team again and again at 'all'* BOINC projects. [* all projects with 'specially' server software] |

All projects that have a reasonably up to date version (last 2 years?) of the software that have not turned off BOINC wide teams (it is opt out for the projects). BOINC WIKI |
