Hi folks! Here is my question: I want to run SAH-BOINC on two computers - one at home and other at work. But my work computer isnt connected to the internet. Can I transfer some of the downloaded workunit on it, launch it and then bring results to home or internet connection is mandatory? If it's possible what should I do, which files should I transfer, etc.? Thanx, Kostya |

As Pascal said, not with BOINC Seti Classic ( http://setiathome.ssl.berkeley.edu/ ) is still going on, and with it you can transfer WorkUnits back and forth between machines. I did something similar for a while at one job. Ran SetiCLassic for a couple of days to get approximate run times for each WU, then set up multiple directories, and Scheduled them so that only one was running at a time. took things back and forth to home on ZIP and or CDRW |
